The life of the small Belgian regional company Air Antwerp, which started on September 9, 2019 with its headquarters in Antwerp, was short-lived. Just two years later, in June 2021, it had to finally cease flight operations, after having interrupted them several times before due to a lack of passenger numbers during the corona pandemic. The only aircraft in the fleet was a single Fokker 50, which it operated between Antwerp and London City Airport, an important route for diamond and commodity traders.
