I already have the Icelandair Gemini Jets version of the 757 - a later model with winglets. I ordered this as 1) I enjoyed my many flights on this accomplished airliner and 2) my wife and I enjoyed flying on this airline during its brief existence.
The model is fine but no "wow". The rendition of the livery is very nice and overall the quality of the model is good. I display the bird on the stand with the wheels retracted. The front wheels door doesn't fit well and interestingly this part fell off my Icelandair version. But it's not typically visible so not an issue but clearly a design snafu.
If you like this unusual and accomplished bird or have an affinity to America West then get it.
