In order to achieve this goal and other sustainable solutions for environmental protection, the Lufthansa Group CleanTech Hub was created as a competence center for climate protection technologies. The flagship for this project is the D-AIVD, and for good reason: The A350 is considered the cleanest and most modern aircraft of its size in the fleet, consuming almost 30 percent less kerosene than various previous models.
