With the delivery of its first 787-10 from Boeing’s Charleston factory in the South Carolina plant, the Abu Dhabi-based Airlines became the second operator of the longest Dreamliner variant in in November of 2018, only after Singapore Airlines. Etihad Airways had already been the first customer for the shorter 787-9 variant in the Middle East. In total, the airline has 30 787-10s on order.
