This Die-cast metal airplane model come sin 1/200 scale with landing gear and plastic stand. Model is approximately 5 ½ inches long with 7 inch wingspan. The long range of the four-engined Douglas aircraft allowed flights from Europe to North America, service to New York starting right after receipt of its first aircraft in 1946. This 1/200 scale model sports the twin-stripe livery first introduced in 1950.
