Initially, two Avro 504K biplanes formed the “fleet”, mainly being operated on joy rides and charter flights. Qantas started scheduled passenger and mail services in 1922. To start off the year-long centenary celebrations, Qantas unveiled a special livery on its latest aircraft type. Named after the town of Longreach, headquarters of Qantas from 1921, the Dreamliner sports the various logos used in the company’s history.
