The first time this model came out I was slow and did not get it as it was sold out before I could order. I was elated to see this come out a second time and now I have this one and the other Continental "star" livery N8214H for my fleet.
The two models are identical except for the registration number.
These colors are painted on the Continental white back drop. The cockpit shape, cockpit windows and nose are shaped correctly. The passenger doors and windows are reproduced in crisp clarity.
The landing gear are scaled. It is always remarkable to me as to high big the main gear tires are on a DC-7.
Very happy to add this second 7 to my diorama of this Continental era. (Posted on 12/26/2015)
