The MD-10 is retrofit cockpit upgrade to the DC-10 and a re-designation to MD-10. The upgrade included an Advanced Common Flightdeck (ACF) used on the MD-11 and was launched in 1996. The MD-10 conversion now falls under the Boeing Converted Freighter program where Boeing's international affiliate companies perform the conversions.
Highly collectible, these limited edition, 1/200 scale, die cast models – which are twice as large as standard die cast metal airliners – feature simulated cockpit and cabin windows; realistic engine nacelles with visible fan blades; antennas, simulated lights, and other fine add-on parts; intricate landing gear with free-rolling wheels and real rubber tires; an authentic livery with razor-sharp printing; a limited edition card; and more.
